The World is changing at an unprecedented pace. As one of the leading financial hubs of South East Asia, how is Singapore responding to this transformation? The answers lie in the leadership within its business and non-governmental sectors. How do leaders take up their roles to create sustainable responses in such a volatile environment? Rapid change is disrupting relationships, expectations, and organizational systems.
How then do we create spaces to restore hope and repair our connections? What might we do to rejuvenate ourselves internally, enabling us to build strong relationships that confront reality, foster community, and reclaim our core values? By what means will we find the personal and collective leadership required for such times? And what insights might people from outside Singapore gain from exploring these questions? To what extent can we be courageous and proactive in shaping ourselves as leaders to be effective in this volatile context?
We invite you to explore these questions through experience at the “(Re)Discovering our Roles: Rituals and Renewal” Group Relations Conference in Singapore - a vibrant cultural melting pot. The group relations methodology will empower us to engage with these themes emotionally and intellectually, using them as resources for learning and growth in leadership and in followership roles.

You are new to Group Relations Conferences?
Traditional conferences are based on the idea that participants will listen to and absorb the knowledge and wisdom of speakers and presenters, and that ordinary attendees have little to offer other than to learn from the invited expert presenters. In contrast, Group Relations Conferences draw out the wisdom and experience from the conference attendee group itself. This is achieved through the organisers and conference leaders setting up a highly interactive experiential set of sessions. During these sessions, attendees explore the way in which they act, interact, think, and feel - particularly in dynamic, changing, and sometimes ambiguous situations. Behaviours cannot be pre-rehearsed, and so there's a strong element of self-discovery and discovery about how social systems and organisations work through this lived experience and the conversations are an integral part of the conference structure. Group Relations Conferences are powerful, immersive, unpredictable, and often life-changing.
For more information see “About the conference", and in particular the section on the educational dimension of the event.
