Martin has 25 years of experience working globally as a consultant, coach and trainer with executives and leaders. His successful projects include facilitating two five-year joint venture negotiations with international partners to reach agreement on the design and funding of two energy projects in the north of Australia with a total value of well over US$50 billion . Overall, his work has taken him to over 25 countries in all continents in the world, including Malaysia, Thailand, and three middle-Eastern countries. He has delivered dozens of keynote presentations and workshops at major world conferences on group leadership, group dynamics, organizational culture and experiential learning. He has taught group dynamics and psychotherapy courses at university level for 15 years. Martin is the editor of numerous issues in international journals and is the author of many articles and books both internationally and in Australia. His best-known monograph is Group Action: The Dynamics of Groups in Therapeutic, Educational and Corporate Settings; (Jessica Kingsley Publishers), published in 2008. More recently he was lead editor of the (2022) book “The collective spark: Igniting thinking in groups, teams and the wider world. Published in Belgium by Grafische Cel.
